It is the CA model. I bet that the parts in the Federal model are exactly the same, only some parts have been left uncut.
I've looked up the part numbers on those chips, and they they are nothing fancy. Comparators, and opamps. Standard stuff. In fact, this "computer" has no brains on it at all. It's mostly a bunch of passive parts.
Amazing that places charge $400 for this thing, which has $10 worth of parts.
There is a 2nd computer (much smaller), it has something to do with the air conditioner. It's the same deal.

The computer is located under the passenger side dashboard, above the glovebox. It is more towards the front of the dash.
It can be hard to spot, but if you open the glovebox, and look straight up into the underside of the dash, you will see it. It comes in a rectangular plastic box, ive seen them blue, ive seen them white. It is a little larger than the palm of your hand + fingers.
