Somewhat OT, Secondary Fuel Filter

Post by coltarms »

I am looking to install a secondary "in-line" fuel filter in my 2000 Wrangler. It is a MPI setup, runs about 36psi, pump maxes out at about 95psi. I am looking to install something up by the fuel rail that can be changed out yearly. Any thoughts on what or how?

eh, not really, i think a before-the-pump filter would be your best option, high-press FI filters are never simple.

Examine a Powerstroke fuel filter bowl. see if its separable and it might be a good option if you could make it work.

The fuel filter for a Nissan '84 to '88 VG series V6 engine is an EFI canister type...hose clamps on both ends.
