I want, but I live 3000miles away. I really can't afford another car anyhow. This car can be made into an awesome rally car. It's light, and can take lots of power. Cusco makes LSD diffs for the front, centre and rear diffs of this car.

i've ridden in one of these before, and seen the wagons around alot. does anyone have any thoughts on them as compared to the 4wd tercels? they don't come in 6 speed right? i assume they are better quality but are definitely more of a "car" car. i was wondering about picking up one of the wagons at some point. there's probably a lot more mods available, although i feel the tercel is a lot better looking.

I really like the AE95s. They are probably not as good for off roading because they do not have the EL gear. They are better street/highway cars though. They are normally AWD with an open centre diff. The centre diff can be locked with the press of a button. They have more power than the tercel and are fuel injected. There are many performance options available for them because they use the 4A engine and share some parts with the AE86 corolla. The sedans are used by some as rally cars. The drive train is much stronger than the tercel drivetrain.
All depends on what you want I guess. I'm definitely going to buy an AE95 one of these days.
