HELP!!

Post by Carguylen »

What's the part called that the water pump bolts too? Is it part of the engine? Or is it a seperate part? I also posted the whole story on the repair section. THanks for any info.

Yeah, I broke it, wondering what it's called.....it's the part that the thermostat fits into, so I can call parts places and know what to ask for....

the part the thermostat fits into is the aluminum "go between" the block and waterpump.
the part that fits over the thermostat is alum also (the bottom radiator hose connector)
there are two studs that hold this part on
did you break the stud?
if so you can probably repair it
i doubt you will find any of the aluminum parts at a parts store
if you can describe the part better
i probably have one lying around somewhere
that i will ship to you for the cost of shipping only
Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.

I found the part...by "Parts store" I meant wrecking yards....for these old things, that IS the parts store....I broke off the part where the stud is, so I needed a whole new piece. Now....try and put it on....
