Toyota Truck Destruction

Post by MootsMan »

Here's something I thought most of you would get a kick out of.

It's 16:43 worth of video, but definitely entertaining for Toyota lovers.

Smoke and mirrors ??? or an amazing truck ??

Interesting , none the less.

Is that the one from the TV show Top Gear? I'm on a really slow dial-up connection. I think they very carefully chose stunts that wouldn't kill it.

Yes, that's the show. It's still pretty impressive that it came down with a 12 or 14 story building in a controlled demolition, and they were still able to get it to run afterwards.....however, it was undriveable ( at least legally, on the highway) at that point due to a broken frame.

They really did try hard to kill it. They certainly could have done worse.... Say, light the fire IN FRONT OF the firewall?

Or leave it running when the tide came in, put it in inside the building instead of on top, etc.
But yeah, it still was impressive and entertaining. Of course if I had a diesel Toyota pickup, I'd try to see how long it lasts when treated nicely. :D
