can't wait to install it, just cleaning it tonight. looking forward to the little extra bit of power i'll have now

tried it out today, works great, car pulls a little smoother now

It was to me when I owned it. The reason being, it increase air flow a bit into the carb (paired with my new larger diameter exhaust, made for a decent power increase). Also, it was a good investment in that I would not have to buy new air filters again. This is especially a good thing if you spend a lot of time in dusty areas with your car.

I swapped out my stock carb to a weber though, which is why I sold my K&N factory replacement.

So how do K&N's work, anyhow? Do you take it out and vacuum it every two oil changes or something?

speaking of filters, where can i order a k&n filter with the nice and clean silver k&n top ? i need to get rid of the ugly OEM unit. thanks

its deffinatley a good mod, i don't drive the car that often, so i didn't notice all that much, but when you have a car making 62hp you notice 1HP more than you would on a 400HP BMW M5
