Hi, I’m looking for a vacuum valve, which is located on the top, near the distributor. One hose goes to the distributor, and the other one goes to the carburetor (I think?).
I think it is a ”thermostatic vacuum transmitting Valve”.
Unfortunately, the nipple (the one going to the distributor) broke off the valve.
Does anyone have this valve lying around, or know where I can find one?
Toyota Tercel, 3A-L 77E engine. 4x4 – 1985.
Grateful for any replies!
Best regards

Re: Thermostatic vacuum transmitting Valve
Welcome to the forum! Do you have a pic of the thing you're talking about? This is what the thermostatic vacuum switching valve (aka TVSV) looks like on North American Tercels.
But it screws into the coolant outlet at the front of the engine and has 5 vacuum hoses attached to it, which sounds different from what you're describing.
