Sprinter Carib white edition

Post by Nordical25 »

Since I decided to upload Canadian Carib brochure to forum today, I decided to upload also two other minor brochures as a bonus. They feature first facelift 1984-1986 Carib white edition and second facelift Carib 1986-1988 white edition.

These brochures are two page brochures so they have only some pictures.

Unfortunately my language skills are limited to four different languages and japanese is not one of them. So I am translator dependant in japanese. I would need to ask someone who speaks japanese, which is the correct translation.

And I apologize if I was a bit harsh with you before. I'm just dealing with a lot of idiots these days and my patience is wearing very thin. I used to be a lot more patient than that. But yeah, the model you saw in that Egyptian movie was a EUR, GEN model. That one was still available until Jan 1988 even after the Jan 1983 introduction of the SR5, EUR, GEN model ( the unmarked SR5 I was telling you about. The correct interpretation as I understand it is an SR5 model (unmarked) that was sold to both European markets and General markets that happened to also be a GENERAL market car). The correct CARIB equivalent of that would have been the first RV SPECIAL that was introduced in April 1983 and lasted into September of the same year. This RV Special had the 1st Period (August 1982 to August 1984) FS11 AV-II (SR5) trim making it an AV-II RV SPECIAL but on the AV-I platform like the SR5, EUR, GEN model was an SR5 on the DLX platform. The Tercel one was sold in the Netherlands and Chile for example. The first RV SPECIAL became an actual AV-I in September and Automatic Tranny was introduced in October 1983 along with the (R) after the MWFNS that made the more well-known RV SPECIAL famous. The NEW ZEALAND Spec SR5 came out in June 1985 and lasted until Jan 1988 according to one parts catalog. Though I've seen a September 1984 SR5, EUR, GEN brochure with a NEW ZEALAND dealer sticker on the back, which leads me to the conclusion the model was out even earlier than what the parts catalog falsely stated
