So in replacing my 84 wagon manual shifter bushings I wasn’t able to locate the bottom cup bushing. There were a few scattered prospects via eBay, but not much. So I ended up buying a cup bushing for $10 on Amazon for an older Miata. It required some slight sanding at the outside edge to fit, but eventually fit into the top of the transmission snug and has made another big improvement for shifting after the rubber sleeve bushing, which was easier to find and I’d done months back. Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know there’s an alternative for that plastic cup bushing at the bottom of the stick shift if need be.

That's interesting, good to know you found something that worked.
Did you check with Toyota for the shifter bushing? I think that's where I got mine last time. That was a long time ago now though, maybe 10 years or so.
