ISO Reverse Light

Post by ZVKep »

Hello friends,

I have a 1986 Tercel Wagon 2WD (it looks identical to the 4WD) that has a smashed reverse light. I picked up a spare housing at a salvage yard (assuming they would all be the same) only to find it is different from mine!
See pictures. If anyone has one, please let me know.
In the pictures, the one I need is on the left(top pic), and on the bottom(bot pic).
Many thanks!

Well, the first difference is that one doesn't fit! LOL.
The housing is the same. Just the transparent light diffuser is different. If you look at the pic real close you'll see one is taller (from top to bottom, as-installed) and wider (side-to-side, as installed).

Well hopefully one of forum members have one. Alternatively, could you search for a licence plate molding from salvage yard, which is also later model.

Well, I went to the PicknPull in Springville yesterday since they had an 86 2WD wagon but the light was broken out of the ATM. :(
