Nice score. Have you changed the transmission and rear diff fluid yet? always the first thing to do. Looks pretty clean! lightly sand the black window trim and gutter, mask and hit it with some satin finish black rattle can to make it really pop!

How is the heater core? It looks like it leaked down into the front passenger side footwell at one time. Overall the car looks great though.

It looks like the heater core was removed. So the previous owner probably removed it after it had leaked.

Small update
Painted front and back wind shield wipers
Cleaned engine-bay
Cleaned carpets and seats
Cleaned all the panels
Ive ordered parts to get the car running they should be here next week

That blue plaid looks fantastic! I’ve got a brown interior 84’, but I might prefer the blue? My 85’ (diamond) is my daily, the interior is getting abused in it.

Nice car! And I also like the blue plaid seats very much. Here in Europe our latest best equipped 1986-1988 4wd Tercels received black plaid seats similar to Japanese RV specials. I am lucky to have them in one of my cars.

the driver seat on this car was definitely abused. the whole left side of it no longer has any support. I'll get it fixed after I finish the more apparent problems
