Post by Familyguy78 »

Will an automatic transmission radiator be safe to put into a manual transmission equipped tercel?

What's the difference between the two radiators? Manual vs Automatic? Partsgeek seems to think it matters but I don't buy it.

The automatic ones have a section on the bottom that is a transmission fluid cooler. It has small inlet and outlet pipes for hoses from the trans. If that is the only difference (eg, mounting points are the same), these pipes can just be left disconnected and it should be fine.
