Got to have your own spin I guess.
OK well, I got my 86 SR5 6sp yeterday. I can alrealy say that I think it is a blooming love. It has 228k miles. Light blue and ugly. The little familly run dealer did not even clean it up and I think it needs a passenger side CV shaft. This is going ot be a great little car for me.
My main reason for getting it is that I have started delivering papers in my area and need to make sure I have a good running car 100% of the time. Needless to say the Tercel did great this morning and that 4wd is going to be a life saver once the snow and ice get here.
I am in Forest Grove, OR. I see that there are several others in my area. I hope to meet you soon and learn much.
Thats all for now,
Calvin

T4WD augury?

No, no, no ....
It's actually clever.
Just my feeble attempt at humor inferring a link between one youthful no-no to an item which was definitely a no-no in my youthful household, as said item's use would surely lead to monocular vision.
I thought a link would be noticed at this Holiday Season when that wonderful movie about Ralphie and his "Major Prize"-winning Dad is played.

P.S. I changed the emoticon to a more cheerful visage.
P.P.S. I saw a story some years ago averring that what fuels Daisy's continued production of the Red Ryder is the presentation of that model to adult males who never found one under the tree - like me... 99.9% of today's kids have never heard of Red Ryder (and his young "Injun" companion), and I would think they would scorn the rifle's pretty archaic technology compared to its peers - 'course, we all drive mature Tercels, though...

I had a 1917 .22 Remington Longrifle.. It was cool. I actually preferred it to my buddies semi-auto Ruger .22.
Course, mom decided I was going to kill someone or something with it and as such gave it to my uncle. I dunno if she knows I have an 8mm Nambu semi and a 7.5mm Bolt-action Arisaka. Both vintage WWII, not shot in about 50 years. Hooray for vintage!!! lol. You want vintage, look at my 1700's Katana...
Red Ryder... Hmmm.... Well, all I remember of my parents words of Red Ryder was that action was involved... I have not seen much of older shows.
Lol... His dad puts up that leg-lamp and the socket shorts... Right movie? Blame it on the iceicle!
