decent-looking wagon, according to the photo accompanying the listing

it goes without saying that Forum members should act quickly before the best and rarest parts are stripped, e.g., the headlight assemblies, front fenders, etc.

Pick n Pull will not sell a car they put out in the yard for parts, its fate is 4 to 6 weeks, and what ever is left goes in the crusher.

What a shame, that looks like it would have been a good one to fix. likely they took it to an ingornant lazy mechanic who did not want to work on an old car, and told the owner it was not worth fixing. might have needed a head gasket, or a clutch. I have seen that before. the people do not realize how popular these cars are, trust their mechanic, and unload it at a wrecking yard for $200. I remember when someone asked a mechanic at a shop about fixing an older car, all he had to say was bad things about the car, which had nothing to do with the question. he just hated working on old cars. Jack ass.

Someone should go grab those head lights, grill and side marker lights, as well as the transmission out of this thing. there is someone looking for fenders too, might work out a deal with someone local.

How long will they keep the car in the yard? Am about 2-3hrs from Portland. With work, I wouldn't be able to make a trip out for a week maybe 2.. Shameful, I know.
I only really have experience with B&R around Oregon/Washington and they seem to overprice everything
Based on how clean that yard is I'd say it's pretty pricey. Thanks for the info
