hopefully a fast-acting Forum member can at least rescue the composite headlamp assemblies on this nice-looking wagon (I feel like a broken record for pointing this out every time a 1987-88 Tercel wagon hits the junkyards)

^^^ Thanks Mattel.

Some time ago, I signed up to receive text notifications whenever a Tercel wagon shows up on Row52.com ... anybody can sign up and get their own notifications.

With parts becoming scarcer, I try to get the word out promptly here on the Forum whenever a fresh wagon hits the wrecking yards, so our members can have a good shot at finding the parts they (or other members) need before these vehicles become too picked over.

Good luck to all in finding the parts on their lists.

that wagon looks relay clean, too bad it ended up in the yard. Likely a mechanical problem, it does not appeared wrecked.

the 4wd trans is worth getting, even if trashed, there will be useful parts in it. I do not have much time, or I would consider picking it over, including getting the trans, front steering knuckles and the rear axles, and diff assembly.

Went up to visit the car over the weekend, there were actually two Tercel Wagons there.

The '87 ad 355k miles on the odometer, the interior was covered in mold and the headlamps were damaged, or heavily sealed with silicone, so I passed on those as well.

Rear axle and transmission had been removed by the time I arrived. No A/C on this car either.

I'm not sure that I even noticed after realizing how moldy the interior was, but I'd wager it was a manual.
