1986 2WD 4sp hatchback
Hello fellow tercel enthusiasts! I have a 2wd hatchback for sale and I thought I should post it here as well because of the front ends being similar as well as the engine being the same, the 3A. This was my first project car and I used this website extensively to find information about this project. It has new brake hoses, front and rear wheel bearings, new drums, new pads, seats from an sr5, gauge cluster from an sr5 (though I swapped in the original odemeter). It also sports new engine bearings and piston rings. The head has new valves lapped in and was ported and polished. I rebuilt the carburetor using a kit and xirdneh's video. The engine runs great with its new timing belt and the transmission shifts great once it warms up a little bit. The back tires are worn, the body isn't great, and the suspension is worn. The battery is brand new but held in by bungie cords. All the lights work and the heater also works amazingly (forgot to mention the new heater core). This car is fun to drive but I now have a baby on the way and it has to go. It comes with a box of parts too. I'm located in Port Hadlock, WA. I would rather it go to a Tercel enthusiast over anyone else. $800 obo. I have a lot more pictures if anyone is interested.
