That doesn't look too bad... Is it pretty rusty on top the wheel wells or is that just peeling paint?

Re: 1987 Toyota Tercel 4WD Wagon $2600 Nelson, BC
The passenger side has started peeling away a bit, but as I said, that is due to the quick repair my body guy did at the time. The main focus was on the driver's side, and it still seems solid.

Fair enough. I just need to avoid the swiss cheese like I had in my gold one haha. Are you in a hurry to sell?

The option is it sells and moves before the snow arrives, or it'll sit for the winter, because the snow piles high over here in Nelson. How about you, any ideas?

I'm not sure... I'll probably have to wait until spring to get them if I'm going to with school and work in the way at the moment.

Hey, have you tried contacting this guy?

I'd be tempted to come look at it after all the good times I had with Leonard, but I'm in school and am not too flush at the moment.

Hey LowBuckCanuk,
It struck me odd that you are “in school”. Based on the limited info available (one of the best screen names and coolest avatar pics), I would have pegged you in the “senior” group (50 and up) with me! It is interesting how we sometimes create an image/perception and that becomes our default understanding until more information is received.
GLet - Hopefully the provided link helps, I’ve always been intimidated by customs etc. I’ve actually never been out of the USA except for a couple of brief hours on the Canadian side of the bridge at Niagra on accident! Interesting, but I was glad to return, my wife and I were foolishly traveling w/o passports for our two minor sons and my wife doesn’t have one either.
Chris
PS - I forgot my visit to Mexico this fall, the cruise was fun (mostly because it was with family).

Re: 1987 Toyota Tercel 4WD Wagon $2600 Nelson, BC
I called the Kijiji link, and talked at length with the young feller...he's looking more for a parts car, but may come have a look see. Thanks for the heads up!
