Fuel pressure regulator install

Post by PNWtercel »

I have a Weber Carburetor installed but no electric fuel pump or pressure regulator so I believe the stock fuel pump is putting out 7psi where the Weber needs 3

I am looking for help on how to install a fuel pressure regulator properly

There are lots of threads on how to do this. Do a search for "weber fuel pressure regulator" or something like that.

as I recall, it is not a big deal. the regulator is a device you purchase and install in-line between the fuel pump and the carb. see the threads with pictures showning this.

when you buy a fuel pressure regulator it will come with instructions.

without it the factory fuel pump will over power the needle valve in the weber, and it will flood.
