T4WD carbs/instrument clusters/3A engine/trans

Post by tercel4wdrules »

Hello everyone. I need to sell these parts as soon as possible. This is some of what is left of what was a Tercel parts hoarding problem  . I would prefer if someone would come and pick up this stuff locally as I don't have a lot of time to ship them out (minus the engines or transmissions), but I can if there's no interest locally.

I have 7 carburetors. I don't know if they work or not. Some are cores and are missing some parts.

Complete EBCV and vacuum switches.

1985+ instrument cluster with high miles on the odometer.

I removed this cluster from a 1986 T4WD I used to have. Looks like someone swapped the speedometer into the newer cluster because the gauge needles reflect the later T4WD style.

In this parts assortment there is a window regulator, but don't remember which side it is for.

I have two 3A engines, one which was dropped (broken timing gear and some other external damage to it), both need to be rebuilt. The one that was dropped has a Delta Cams regrind cam in it. I also have two Z52F transmissions, one of which worked and has ~270k miles on it but it was a little noisy at hwy speeds. The other one I have no idea if it works fine or not.

I'm not listing prices but make me an offer and we can work out a good deal. Parts are located in So Cal. PM if you're interested!

I actually picked one up from the junkyard yesterday, so perhaps not so rare?

I have found a few in parts cars just not one I’ve actually been able to convince someone to remove and sell me. I think I got it figured out it’s just going to cost me about the same I paid for the whole car, but going to get a set a snow tires on factory rims with the deal too.

Down here in So Cal they are. I hardly see these cars on the road anymore. They probably got retired from the state’s buyback program. I haven’t been to a junkyard recently, but last time I went to one they were far and few in between.

More likely the draconian CARB smog laws have sidelined way too many old cars, which is why you never see them on the road. In people's backyards, sure, but not driving.
