Rims
I found a set of 4 Cressida 15 inch stock alloy rims that appear to have the 4x100mm bolt spec, and a matching steel spare rim. All together $45. Should I do it? Would these look stupid? Whats your guy's opinions?

Closer to the outside.... As in the wheels are located slightly further out?
I'm going to (assuming I go back to further examine the Terc and MR2) going to see if the tires are in good shape (one isn't, as its sitting in the trunk all bald and deflated) and if they are, try and use them.

According to the TireRack, the stock(opt) 205/60R15's would give me a 1.02 inch ride increase over the 175/70R13's.
If I went with 75 series, I'd be looking at 2.23 inch ride height increase. Thats versus the 205/75R14's increase of 1.73 increase. A whole half inch. You think no lift required? LOL. The smallest size Super Swampers I could easily find were 215/75R15's, and those are no baby tires.

I'd go for it...I paid $15 each for 14" steel Escort wheels.
Good idea to put a wheel on the front and run it around the parking lot to see f it rubs much. Then go for some 195/60s?
Check the numbers on the old tires...cord might be bad.

BLAST!!!!
They must be 110mmx4..... In other words... I now have in my possetion 4 beautiful alloy Cressida rims and a matching size steel spare rim with good tire. But they will not mount up. I would up spending $50 on the set. I am irretated to say the least, mostly at myself for not doing thorough research pre-purchase to verify spacing compatibility. I only hope that they will give me my $$$ back... If not, then I expect someone will buy off eBay.
I was so looking forward to this....

Man!! I'm sorry!! That would be partially my fault for giving you the wrong info above. I was getting my old Corolla GTS stud spacing (114.3mm) mixed up with my new Tercel spacing (100mm). I knew they fit on the Corolla, but was mixing up the spacing with my Tercel thinking they would fit there.Typrus wrote: BLAST!!!!

Well, because you got such a sweet deal on them, you should be able to make $$ on them selling them again.
You could try selling on Ebay, but you might do better on one of these forums:
<a href='http://www.thermactor.com/forum/' target='_blank'>http://www.thermactor.com/forum/</a>
<a href='http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/' target='_blank'>http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/</a>
<a href='http://www.club4ag.com/' target='_blank'>http://www.club4ag.com/</a>
If you can't sell them for at least what you bought them for, I'll send you $50 for your troubles (as I feel responsible).

Well, you are most certainly... NOT responsible. Aside from that, don't worry- I have a happy ending.
I went back, and they refused to buy them back BUT said if I could find another pair that WOULD fit, I'd be able to trade them 1 for 1. So now I'm the proud owner of some Escort GT rims. 4 to be exact. And the confused owner of one steel spare rim with the wrong bolt spec. They are 135mmx4 by the way. The guy checked them out. The Escort rims look pretty sexy on the Terc in their 15 inch aluminum glory. They are the 5 spoke variety.
The front tires are directional 205/50R15 Kumho Ecsta's. They have about 50% tread on them.
The rear tires are 195/55R15 Yokohama YK420's with about 5% tread.
Man are they sexy....

The Cressida rims are not 135mm x 4 though! They are 114.3mm (4.5") x 4. The guy must have measured wrong. I know this because they are interchangable with the 82-86 supra rims which are also 114.3mm. All the rwd Toyota stuff is 114.3mm going way back. It's only 86 and beyond that they went 5 bolt on some of the rwd cars (supra to start).
Almost all toyota 4 stud fwd cars have the 100mm x 4 bolt pattern (again, until the 5 stud design).
You gotta show us some pics of your new 15s!!
