Question on 4 wheeling with oversized tires?
Recently two Tercel's with oversized heavy treaded tires with bad transmissions. i wonder if the stress from those tires while 4wheeling rough terrain had anything to do with it?
Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.

Re: Question on 4 wheeling with oversized tires?
likely contributed, but as for cause, not so sure. was the trans abused, had regular gear oil changes, "speed" shift, used to tow another vehicle? lots of reasons can contribute.
these are 35+ years old, who know what kind of abuse they suffered.
