Yeah, I'm still very upset about it. It's just a crunched fender. I'm sure the claims adjuster is going to come down and say it's totalled and offer me chump change. I haven't looked too throughly at it but it isn't bad at all. My representative said they'd offer me the nada bluebook value for it which is not too bad, but having the salvage title for my vehicle hurts me the most. I'll report back after the claims adjuster comes and see what he says. Luckily I was hit by a company vehicle and not someone without insurance.

I can try to find a fender for ya.
You might have to do some tweakin
To get the fender to fit but i think it would be worth it
Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.

So I need to tell this lady I want to keep my car, correct? What is stated here is what I will get if they take it? Never had to deal with stuff like this before. Any help is appreciated.

I believe the salvage price is what you will buy it back for. At least that's the way our 4runner worked when we kept it.

it shows you being charged for the salvage value, the offer assumes you will keep the car.

looks like a good offer. just make sure you verify you will accept the offer and be keeping the car.

Can't you take the car to a DMV and have them inspect it then restore the title from salvage to regular?

Sent out the email regarding that, got an automated response back saying she's going to be out of office until January 3rd. Wondeful.

I'm not entirely sure on the process but I know it will never go back to being a clean title again. It'll go from salvage to rebuilt after the fact. I shouldn't even be mad about it either, I'm never selling the car anyway. Haha.
