sort of...it is just a switch box that trips some of the vac operated devices on the induction system. You know, all of those unidentifiable metal can like objects with both wires and vac lines running to them under the hood. One of them controls the fuel/air ratio by allowing bleed air to enter the intake manifold under the carb.
