so, i changed my tranny and the diff fluid today, it seems i took out LESS than 4L of gear oil, and i put 5L of oil into it (4.1L for the tranny, 1.1 for the rear diff)
oh well, the situation is corrected now.
also, when youdrain the tranny, make sure to remove the two drainplugs on the bottom of the tranny, just draining from one won't get all the old fluid out.
took out 3L, put in 5L

you gotta take out all 3? damnit
well, i'll probably be under there again, 85W-140 seems way too thick, and all the weird noises are gone now, i think the main culprit was low tranny oil...

I missed the one at the back...has no magnet...was just a pint of clean oil.
Low gear oil is NOT a good thing....not a good thing at all....
If you aren't where it's really cold....the heavier stuff is OK.
If you have access to a lift...change it out 1x a year???? Can't hurt.

Give a boy a gun-give a biatch a cell phone-and pretty soon you almost got yourself a police state.
