Now, I'm not dissing the idea of using silicone, but I always use Permatex regular antiseize (other similar brands would be OK as well) on ALL threaded fasteners when replacing them.

Sometimes antiseize makes it too slippery and it is easy to over tighten and strip aluminum housings. Everyone has their favourite application, basic theory don't put the bolts in dry.
I'm def. an anti seize guy too- just don't go too crazy on the re-assembly torque. Stuff makes it REAL easy to get it apart the next time.
