Ice fishing conversion

Post by splatterdog »

After another chunk of car fell off last week it looks like some welding is in order, at least to keep this current driver on the road. While I'm at it, this one just might be receiving a full on ice fishing package. RR subframe needs help, so I'm going to connect the front and rear with a steel frame with a 10-12 inch hole subframe connector so I can cut a fishing hole/lid in the floor. Passenger seat will be gone and I will be fishing mostly from the RR seat and also will do the same on the drivers side, but with only the seat moved full forwards for fishing when using 2 holes. Pretty much an ultra light version of this-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b36wHAUZYks

Still in wild hare phase..

Never been ice fishing but doing so from inside a T4 seems like a fun way to use the beast. I love clever ideas for customizing these things.
