Right?! It looks like a Mars rover or something! It's neat it has the same mud flaps as the T4. Gotta love the inclinometer too but I'm guessing you couldn't get this thing leaning too far or it'd roll over.

Fantastic! looks like it should be painted in camo. it is a deisel too! kind of pricey, but really not a bad price if that is the kind of rare vehicle you want.

I have worked on one of these before (USDM gasoline 4wd), maintenance is a PIA. you have to pull out the front seats/carpet/console and remove 48 screws to remove the hatch to get to the engine. the diesel should not need a lot of maintenance, and routine service can be done through hatches (oil changes, etc). Wonder if finding parts would be a problem. that drive train and suspension (and perhaps that engine) are unique to that model, so if you expect to keep it running best thing you can do is find a parts van as your source of spares.

You would certainly draw a lot of attention at 4x4 truck shows and on trail runs.

That does sound like a PITA! I'm sure finding parts would be difficult but worth it to have such a rad vehicle. I love the roof windows. It is kinda pricey but seems within the realm of reasonable for it being so rare and only 76k on a diesel.
