They were good engines, it's too bad we never got them in the states :(. I like the style too, no one makes good looking engines anymore.

They cover them with plastic.

Thats why I like Subaru engines. when you open the bonnet. You get everything infront of you.

I think that engine too was designed by Yamaha for Toyota, same as the 4age.
'87 Tercel 4wd SR5 (current engine swap project)
'84 Tercel 4wd (daily driver, with on going mods)
