Another car saved!

1999 I4 Camry, got it with a blown transmission, after a transmission swap she's good to go!

Got her when she was almost out the door to the junk yard too.

they were sending a camry with only 200k miles on it to the wrecking yard?

The world is already lousy with camrys (too popular and they last too long!), but keeping any decent car out of the crusher actually saves resources and is good for the planet.

Yeah, because the guy didn't care/want to mess with it, his son let the ATF leak out and toasted the transmission, and he was surprised I wanted "that old car".

Had to pull the engine and transmission together. Might take apart the old transmission sometime and try to fix it.

I totally agree with keeping old cars out of junkyards and back on the road, it helps everyone all around!
