Damn. I wish it stuck to the road here in El Paso. I took the tercel out this morning to try and get it sideways but the roads were all clear. :\

Yeah it came fast. My wife and I started into our walk this morning, it was 73 degrees. Before we got a 100 yards, a blast of cold air from the north hit us and suddenly it was 57 degrees. It took only seconds. I went back to get our jackets for the walk.

I haven't seen snow up here in a couple of years. Winter for us in Victoria just means it gets dark early. I think last year even San Diego got more snow than us (since we didn't get any). Oh well, at least I get to use the 4wd every 3 years or so.

The wife is getting General Altimax Arctic's today!

Now that we both have winter tires, it probably won't snow...

we have been getting heavy snow for the last several months, recently down to only 1000 ft, with regular dusting down to 500 ft (like this morning). In November we got as much precipitation as all of last year, causing wide spread flooding and losing several homes in our county that were along rivers.

I got a little backcountry skiing in on Saturday, heavy snow down to 1500 ft, at 2500 it was well over 3 ft deep (this elevation is usually our starting point, but not now, the logging roads were way too deep in snow to get very far up into the mountains).
