Another Camry? Why yes!

Picked up this 1995 Camry V6 with the 1MZ-FE, 120K miles, for $350  Cranked but would not start. ODB II, unlike my 92 Camry, which is a 3VZ-FE and ODB I.

Had fuel, had air, no spark. Is a "Coil on spark plug" system, where the ECU tells the igniter what spark signals to send, and there's a coil on each spark plug. Anyway after testing various things, it looked like it could be the Igniter (aka Ignition Control Module). Over $300 for a new aftermarket one, or I could get a used one on ebay for $25. Swapped that in and boom! Car runs!

Original owners gave it to the grandson a few years ago for college, was a Phoenix car! Unfortunately said college kid was not taking care of the car. Needed a quart of oil, two quarts of coolant, a quart of ATF, some PS fluid, and I think the brake fluid is low.

Oil was DIRTY and smelled cooked. Put some new stuff in and will do some 500 mile oil changes for a bit.

Bring it down to Odessa and I can hit it with the DA and some polish.

I admit slight hatred for your bargain-locating skills. ARGH.
But...did you try hitting it with a hammer?
