Two weeks! That isn't very long. Too bad, I wonder how often this happens to people. You buy something in good faith...

Ebay, like Craig's list, or your local classified advertiser is NOT responsible for what others are selling. they can only do something if their publication was used involving a criminal act (fraud, selling legal items or services, etc.).

Buyer be wary; when you buy used from any source, ebay or from around the corner, you are on your own. That is why it is always best to inspect it before you have to pay for it. not always possible with on-line purchases. Even after a detailed test and inspection, you still do not know what will happen tomorrow. I have bought many things off ebay and mail order, rarely have I had problems, but I know that is always a risk. If the price is too good, or the deal is too good to be true, it probably is.
