I few months ago I did the first oil change after installing the catch can. I was greatly shocked by what I found. I was expecting a bit of sludge and and condensation but what I got was a bit disturbing.
Just figured I'd share my results. 3,200 miles, 1.25 cups of water and 52cc of sludge.
1st off, no, I don't have a blown head gasket. All that water is moisture collected through the carb intake and crank case.Oil catch can for a Weber set up

Re: Oil catch can for a Weber set up
Disturbing indeed! Much short trip driving? I could just imagine the yuck I could produce with my 2 mile drive to work, especially in the winter.
Might be another mod in the near future. For now I've just been using 1000k(give or take a few hundred miles) oil change interval.
