yes, that is the weber commonly used for our cars. you may need to delete the phenolic spacer from below the carb in order to close the hood properly. some people have had problems with hood clearance, some have not, so you'll have to see. not a big deal either way.

also, make sure you order the adapter as well, unless you plan on modifying the intake manifold to bolt directly to the weber.

there are tons of threads on this, just search 'weber install' or something like that in the upper right corner of the site.

Quick tip to save money maybe. These weber in the 70's/80's came stock in some application in europe. You can find some for cheap if lucky in wrecking yards the ones mostly specialized in UK and European imports like renault, mgb spitfire, alfa romeo's and espacially fiat 124 spyder and other models. They usually 32 dmsa 100/200 but they are the same, I know got one! And the kits a cheap paid 10 buck for one from weber in italy.
Something worth look into before buying new!

The Weber 32/36 also came on BMW 1600s and 2002s -Not the Tii models because they had mechanical injection (what a PITA to adjust!), but those were fairly few and far between. The 1600 models will probably need only a little rejetting since the engine size is similar.
When looking at the FIATs, look for the earlier models for the same reason, the 124s started out with a 1600 and just before the end of the model they were putting turbocharged 2000s in them just to keep the performance of the car the same.

You can try http://www.car-part.com/ good way to track used part in north america. With this I know there is a weber in ohio, I think I punched in 78 fiat 124 spyder.
