One way to make replacements for attachment of Air Filter housing to top of Valve Cover

Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.

Clever - you are inventive!
Another bit of hardware that might work would be axle hat nuts (aka axle caps or snap caps) - perhaps two sandwiched? Just drill a hole in them.

i save anything useful (potential) aka junk (per my wife)
so i have a lot to choose from when i need something
