Repairing Worn 3rd/4th gear Shift Fork

Post by xirdneh »

A local machinist filled in the worn areas with brass (brazed)
Note: both sides were worn, I have seen some with only one side worn
then using a fixture he made to hold the fork as he turned it in a lathe
charges $140-150.00 per fork.

Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.
