Nature's body shop, pulling out the front end

Post by SynthDesign »

Ever think that maybe you could just pull that bent frame out yourself. Forget paying thousands for professional work. After being totaled twice I figured why not try. Results may very, but I was quite happy about it.

Enjoy

Haha
I have used that method a number of times to straighten full size truck frames.
Actually With a chain and another truck off to the side (the direction i needed to pull)

all they do when they frame shop straighten it is they bend it, check measurements, bend it, check measurements, until it back within spec (and often they are not careful about that). No reason you could not do that yourself presuming you have something strong enough to anchor your car to (which you found in your yard). I have used the same method, but I used a junk GMC one ton van, the hitch on it made a perfect anchor. I straightened two cars with it. I have also used come-along type hand winches.
