how'd your tint job turn out? i paid a local dude to do mine because it's just such tedious work that is easily messed up. he didn't do a perfect job but he did way better than i could have and at a fraction of the price local shops were quoting me ($400-500!!!).

the tint turned out well david, but brittani and i found THREE new tercs at one of our local junkyards! one of which had a hotrod steering wheel and full black dash and door panels. the same car had... COMPOSITE HEADLAMPS! I'm going to post pics of the cars and a shady interior shot from each. you bet i spent a little cash there today. so - waiting on tint pics for when my grille is back in one piece


lots of good parts, no carbs at all - and the gold one had 368k on the clock and the third layer of license plates were from alaska in 1985!

tints and front end - if you switch to these headlamps, drill the adjuster holes in the rad support carefully, and in the right spot!!

looks like that blue one could have been fixed, the body looks perfect.

I put the later headlights in my '84 and I love them, big improvement over the sealed beams. They are hard to find and replace, so I have been meaning to make stone gaurds for them. two weeks after I found mine one got broken by a rock

I found a replacement eventually, but I still worry about them. I need the time to make something to protect the lights.

PS - Weber clears hood on my new '86 with phenolic spacer! Vroom!

I have best tercel luck out on lasalle - all those cars were crushed last fall :/

Drove my terc 670 miles to Dickinson, ND yesterday - best mileage was 32.17 @ 65mph on a 145 mile stretch. I plan on slicing a vent in my hood to get fresh air to the front of the weber filter before I try again. Some stretches when I wasn't going for mileage we were doing a steady 95 for about 55 miles. The new skins make her ride good but I can tell front end work is needed!
