GREAT KOQ LINK ! ! ! Thanks!
It's going out to my dotters and gkids as I type!
I think there is also a Tercel 5-door in the opening shot! Someone on the show must have really liked them!

Re: Another Movie Sighting...
There is the nose of tan/yellow T4wd just showing in the opening shot of the parking lot on that KOQ clip. Must have taken a good stunt driver to make the Tercel4wd look like it had that much power on that maneuver.
Hah, I found another one in an old movie: "Grand Canyon" with Danny Glover and Kevin Klein. Not a bad flick, supposed to be "family" movie but has a lot of foul language (totally unnecssary of course). In a shot near the end when the Klein character is carting around the Steven Martin character in a facny golf cart there is a red 2wd wagon in the background on a movie set (the Martin Character plays the part of a self absorbed movie producer, hence the set).

I saw that one too and I think it's actually a 2wd one..I think I saw that the corner lenses were larger than that of the 82-86 wagons...

Re: Another Movie Sighting...
So I'm cat/housesitting for a daughter and doing some channelsurfing - and a T4WD pops up in some movie called Crash.
Cool - what's this about?
Then the "in-car" scene with James Spader and Rosanna Arquette starts... OMG! Glad my gkids were not with me...
Tom M.
EDIT - Note that this movie, Crash, is the 1996 one and NOT the acclaimed and Academy-award winning 2004 film of the same name!

Re: Another Movie Sighting...
Just spotted a second Tercel while Deep Impact was on. This one is in addition to the dark brown one which I think I mentioned a few pages back.:
This movie HAS to hold the record for Tercel Wagon sightings:
I only had it on the background but thought I'd freeze frame any car scenes when they came on, knowing there was a brown Terc in it at one point. As far as I can tell it's about Tercel Wagons dealing with the news and later impact of a comet on the earth.
Edit:
Here's ANOTHER one! This thing's about 3 sightings away from being a drinking game:
Edit 2: Fish in a barrel..

Re: Another Movie Sighting...
Should have posted this a long time ago , when the rebels were taking over Lybia - watching cnn I think, one of the reporters was doing live coverage from the front -the main highway -and down the road comes a Tercel 4x4 with 2 matresses tied on the roof with a bunch of people inside, weaving in and out of cars bomed out and on fire and going like Hell . No b/s it was quite a sight, wish i had some pix Larry.

Re: Another Movie Sighting...
I watched the tail-end of an execrable Sci-Fi movie from 1987 called, variously, Retaliator and Programmed To Kill.
There is a T-Wagon (couldn't tell the drive persuasion) toward the end where the antagonist is driving over (I think) a bridge.
She passes a white wagon - I think a DLX, but unsure.

Liiiiittle off topic but my wife and I were watching Commando last week and while eyeballing the background for Terc wagons a 1976-1978 Celica showed up right in the middle of the frame.

Heheh
Was watching old music videos on YouTube from when I was a kid, one band I really liked was a Canadian group called Harem Scarem. Their song "No Justice" was in my head so I looked up the video. And saw this white Terc Wagon twice.:
