Another Movie Sighting...

Post by ARCHINSTL »

Well, I cannot believe I am the first person to notice this, as I thought I was the last person in North America to see this movie...and I did do a Search here...
Repo Man.
Made in 1984.
There is a white Wagon in the repo lot about 2/3 of the way through the movie.

I'll have to give that one another viewing. It's one of my favorite films.
Great sound track too.

Have you ever seen the red Tercel wagon on "Most Shocking" on the former Court TV? There's one that gets pulled over by a cop, and the guy shoots at the cop once, and the cop puts 6 bullets through the driver's rear window, hitting the suspect with every one.

Every time I've seen that, I wonder what happened to the car.

All six shots? It's likely haunted now!

I've been watching old eps of COPs and To Serve and Protect (a lot of them are in BC) looking for Tercels. I know there must be one somewhere,

Just watched this movie for the first time in over 20 years! Ahh the 80"s....

You missed it once though. Towards the beginning it's hooked up to a tow truck.

Just checked out the imcdb site and found this new movie by the makers of "Little Miss Sunshine" which perhaps will do for our cars what the previous film did for the VW microbus. It's called "Sunshine Cleaning". Anyway it looks like the Tercel is the lead characters car.

This is going to be amazing. Absolutely amazing.
I'm going to upgrade the server in anticipation.

lol. But seriously, I would imagine the site traffic will double for a month or two.

and no, that wont put anywhere near a strain on the site.

I use less then 1% of the server capabilities right now.

Dude, you are going to need a team of web developers working around the clock! Time to set up the google adwords on the site, and retire to a pad in Costa Rica as the cheques come in! :D ...
