the front hubs on the Tercel need to have the cv axle stub ends (with the big nut on the outside) in them to hold everything together. You would have to fabricate a special big nut and bolt to replace the cv axle end to hold it all together.
the MR2 knuckles are almost identical with no provisions for the axle ends to pass through it, it should be a direct bolt in swap as I recall. between the original front end parts, and the MR2 front knuckles, you should have all the right bits and pieces to make it work.
