Larry -
Gotta say - apart from the unbelievable talent you keep exhibiting - looking at the photo of the engine/tranny hanging there - they simply dwarf the equivalent of our Tercs! I wonder the Chevy's separate and together weights?

Next project is to mod new door panels on to old doors, has been rather interesting.

Re: Larry's 49 Chevy gets a 500 hp LS3
interesting adaption of door panels. what were they from originally?
I have seen on youtube how to make custom door panels, which are built from scratch from raw ABS plastic sheet and foam panels. way too much work. what you are doing appears a much more practical approach: find something new that you like and cut and mod it so it fits to your door.
I keep looking at our very dated looking Tercel4wd door panels and consider if covering them would improve their appearance or not. but what it really needs are a new design door panel, but I am disenclined to build up new ones from scratch...I do not have that much patients and for the amount of time that would take I just as soon live with the old ones. This approach actually appears it could be done without as much effort to fabricate them from scratch.
