Pinkman Got Nuthin' (Pinky for short)

Post by GLet71 »

It took me two years to buy this from a guy a few hundred kilometres away. The thing was slowly, slowly being buried by garbage, and had been sitting for a few years literally fading away. Fortunately, there isn't much in the way of rust, and I believe I have all the parts needed to have it on the road as my winter runner for the next few years.

The motor was seized, and I managed to break it free with the the almighty ATF. I've gotten it to run, but can't yet get it to stay running; only a matter of time. Here's a few photos for you to see the scope of the mess I'm into, looks like it's been in the desert for 20 years!

nice save! looks like you got a good start on your own fleet of T4wd. '87 DX, but looks like an SR5 drivers seat. Not sure that I have seen a steering wheel like that before.
