Agreed, that does make sense. I have found posts of people who have done it to AE86 corollas but they save it can be quite the challenge. But in some image research, the bolt pattern to mate with the bell housing does look very similar. Oh well. She will stay a 3a unless by chance i happen to stumble upon some miracle research that it will work haha.

Most importantly right now I have a running, driving tercel, which is better than no tercel at all

Also I do not think the trans would hold up to that abuse!

Another concern of mine, that year motor puts out 220hp on stock boost.. Id be careful with it as i am now, but thats like a 240% gain in power, last thing i want to is blow a trans.
