Frank Lloyd Wright and Toyota

Post by Mad_Marx »

Was looking through an Architecture book and found this picture... I wonder if there was a Toyota meet up near by?

1st Gen MR2, 1st Gen Tercel Hatchback, and is that a 2nd Gen Celica followd by a 2n Gen Tercel hatch?

My guess: they just choose some smaller cars to make the building look larger, and these toyotas were available.

That does look like a second gen tercel hatchback in black!

Not so sure it was staged Petros, the rest of the book has lots of pictures that were taken on public streets and you can almost tell the year they were taken by what's parked on the streets. I'd like to think this was just happy happenstance in Chicago one fine day in the 80's :)
