Did you use any special paint for the wheels? How did you do it?

First I pressure washed them at the local car wash. Next I took a wire wheel attached to a drill to them to get off the majority of the rust. After a second wash (with the garden hose) I masked the tires and valve stem while the rim dried. I then applied a number of coats of Rust-oleum rust inhibiting primer followed by several coats of white engine enamel.

the paint job on the white wheels looks great.

what's wrong with the parts car? doesn't look too bad in its pics, and it has a pretty clean looking weber install.

I think the Weber is on the tan one!

Thanks for the painting techniques, I've been wanting to paint mine as well.

The parts car is in decent shape and has a buttery smooth trans, but is rusty and the previous owner had a party with the vacuum lines and wiring. The driver has a better body and fewer miles but the trans is starting to wine. The parts car's trans will get swapped into the driver this summer.
Thanks for the comment about the Weber! I'll put a hard line from the pump to the regulator as soon as I have time.
