I posted earlier about the carb problems and also had a question about the radiator swap. I stuck with the original radiator, but the car seems to get hot quite quickly now. Do most people who do this swap switch to a larger radiator? I had one from the car I took the engine out of, but it was transversely mounted and rerouting the plumbing would not have been 'elegant.' Thanks for any advice.

Try to get a hold of a "heavy duty" version of the radiator.

If you get a Tercel radiator with metal tanks, it can be recored up to 3x as thick with minor modifications. Twice as thick would probably fit with no modifications. I got mine tripled and it cost about $200 and now there's no more cooling problems, even while towing.

It does have metal tanks, so I will look into having that done. Thanks.
