I tried to locate the "S" (Signal) conection on my older,outside-regulator,Nippondenso Alternator, but there were only three conections(F,M,E?) not four like the directions call~for.I need that "signal" terminal too hook~up a battery isolator(Noco),I think it "tells" the isolator when to allow the second battery into the charging~circut.Dose anyone know What gives?

I've got.... probably..... the same external regulator/alternator.
I was into the connxs very intensely when my alt went out.......but I've forgotten most of it.
I can say that you'd want to be very careful as to what you connect to what and whether you run the car if you remove or change anythng.
I'd go find a place that does auto elect repair and ask....the guy might just give you some free advice. Otherwise you might end up replacing a lot of parts.

Give a boy a gun-give a biatch a cell phone-and pretty soon you almost got yourself a police state.
