I would not replace all bearings. The only ones that i've seen go bad are the two large front bearings and they are easy to get. If tranny is noisy while clutch pedal is up and quiets down when pedal is down i would replace inner input shaft bearing. Synchos are hard to find. I reuse the best of the used ones i can find. 2wd trannys are a good source. Also many of the gears are interchangable.
Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.

you can use a 83-85 tranny too
just seperate it from differential

Yes same gearing except for first gear, a couple of teeth difference. You'll probably not feel any difference. I havent.
