Hello every body- thanks for all the input on sway bar bushing ,now the million dollar question- Who sells them???
did someone say they got them from the UK?
Are ones on Cardid the right stuff?
or is Toyhead the place to go?

any tips would be much appreciated thanks to all D

there are a few aftermarket suppliers of polyurethane bushings that have kits for the Tercel4wd, they cost less than dealer parts. I am sure they just put together some standard parts that fit other vehicles so they have a kit to sell the few remaining Tercel4wd enthusiasts. Buying just the right size bushings intend for something else, to use in the TErcel4wd, is a possibility as well. For example, the first generation MR2 has similar size drag strut bushings.

here is a supplier in the USA, I also have seen Suppliers of similar kits in Australia, it seems you should be able to find something similar in England.

you might also consider making your own polyurethane bushings as well, but without the right tools, buying them would a lot less frustration and effort.

I used the poly control arm to sway bar bushings shown in the link above, seemed to fit fine. I can't really speak to how they changed the ride quality because I changed out all the other front end bushings at the same time, along with some other suspension and steering stuff. I elected to go with factory rubber bushes for the rest of them, I didn't want it too stiff or for there to be more stress on the sway bar, I have it lifted a little too.

Does anybody know if any of the bushings shown in Petros' link will work for the rear control arms?
